I've been slacking but lost inches?

So I haven't been working out as much nor eating that healthy. I also haven't been tracking anything I've been eating or doing for the past few months. I avoided the scale for quite some time but recently decided to see the damage. I actually lost a pound. I also felt my stomach to feel less bloated and smaller. So I decided to take measurements, so from April I lost 3 inches in my waist, an inch off my hips, and an inch off my navel area. I'm not sure if the measurements for my thighs were accurate or not because it looks like an increase of 3 inches but my pants still fit the same. Anyway, I guess I'm just surprised because I haven't really been putting much effort these past few months and I lost inches. I also feel like I'm probably avoiding some food that my body has a reaction to, but I have no idea what it is. But my stomach feels happier. I just find this intriguing because this hasn't really happened before, I usually gain weight/inches like crazy.

Winning! I'd take it for sure
It's a good thing that you've realized that you are feeling better too. That's big-time progress.0 -

You could be subconsciously eating at a calorie deficit.
Or, since weight fluctuates hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, it could be you're being hopefully dreamy and pulling the tape measure tighter, if your pants fit the same.
We can't tell.
How much do you want to lose?0
