Wasn't sure where to put this. Nor could I think of a title

    Too one-size fits all, IMO.

There is some good information in there.

From this article I think his interpretation of "eating less" means you eat less food or less frequently, which I think is a debatable translation. His strategy is basically eating lots of lower calorie foods which fill him up, which he would say is "eating more:". I personally take "eat less" to mean eat fewer calories, and use the same strategy as him, but I still consider it "eating less".

I think his idea that diets fail due to decision fatigue is preventable, and I found it interesting that he presents the solution in his exercise section: he mentions "failing to plan is planning to fail". I would also apply that to the decision fatigue stuff before it. Having easily accessible foods that fit your goals is as important for successful weight loss as having a clear exercise plan would be to reaching your exercise goals.

As for cardio vs weight lifting, he has some good points, but in the end I think exercise needs to boil down to what you want/like to do, and what exactly your goals are.

Basically, he presents some great strategies and ideas, but his overall "debunking" of the eat less/move more theory really is based on his specific interpretation of those 4 words. I think you could easily argue that his plan is eating less and moving more.

If he's trying to sell something, it's not an article...

    More of an Advertorial?

    Some good info. Some woo.

Totally agreed. To me, it just sounded like another trainer writing a piece that is structured in a way to make you want to pay for their training methods. What gets me is the bloated after-before photo...
