What's your favorite pair of workout shoes?

Hubby is taking me this weekend to get a new pair of workout/training/exercising shoes. We're heading to the outlet mall to check out the Nike Outlet and I am pumped! I might go over my budget there, since they have more than just shoes

So what's your favorite pair of shoes? Is it even Nike? At the Nike Outlet, prices are more reasonable than heading to Finish Line, Foot Locker, etc.

I've had the same Nike cross trainers for 8 years! I have really narrow feet, and i would always trip myself when I wore bulky running shoes. These shoes were so thin and narrow, I didn't have to worry about tripping. They have traveled with me to 5 continents.

Alas, this year I decided that if I wanted to run, I would need proper running shoes. I went to a specialty running store, they watched me run and took a bunch of measurements, and found me some narrow running shoes. New Balance. They are light and comfy. I don't trip with them either

I think it's time to upgrade my cross trainers for non-running activities...
