Anyone ever tried HIIT?

Ever tried HIIT (high intensity interval training)? I heard about it recently and it's new to my gym. I've never tried it and wanted the scoop. Lol

Yes. It's fine but you can't do it every day and it's not magic. At least I can't. I jog, I walk, and I sprint. Oh, and I lift weights. Find a mix you enjoy and stick with it. There's no magic bullet. Just work.2

HIIT is the trendy new magic bullet (it's not new and it's not magic) Having said that interval training should be part of any well rounded fitness program and there are studies that have show HIIT can provide many of the same benefits, at least initially, as longer steady state workouts for people new to fitness.

I'll second what sunnybeache.... said, find something that you enjoy (which may or may not include HIIT)2 -
I am in my second week of doing interval training (3 times a week), and already I am feeling a difference! I am following an 8 week programme but intend to continue if there is a definite change in my body shape! I am using the app run for weight loss, pretty cool!1
