Hello I am a 53-year-old female and I have decided to join fitness pal to gain accountability and Lose weight.I have been a weight watchers number for nearly 6 years and I don't feel that the program is working for me. Every year their program changes and sugar is still included in certain recipes. I want to cut my sugar intake and increase my intake of lean protein and vegetables and fruit.

I gave up sugar and sugar substitutes such as those in diet soda a few years ago and I lost 40 lbs and kept it off for a few years. About a year ago I fell back into my old habits of sugar and diet coke and gained 16 lbs back. I've managed to get off 6-7 of the 16 I packed on but still finding it hard to get back on track. I find the mfp community so helpful and supportive if I can support you in anyway on your journey please let me know.0
