Working out with a trainer

I have been with a trainer for a week. It took me awhile to get the nerve up to go to a gym. I am 59 years young and 100+ pounds to lose. I got so sore this week I couldn't work out yesterday. I didn't think we pushed that hard. The soreness sucked.

I booked a trainer for the 7 weeks running up to my holiday, saw him twice a week to get in a habit. Went from a standing start of obese asthmatic couch potato kind of scared of getting out of breath
That first Saturday I went to a friends house for supper and could barely bend my knees to sit
That was 2 and a half years ago...I still see him once a week, you can prise him out of my cold dead hands...the things I am capable of doing that I never dreamed possible...been at goal weight for about 18 months, and my body has reverted to pre-children, 20s style (actually it's probably better, better musculature now)
Keep it up3
