Kettlebell AND Running?

Hi there!
I just purchased a kettle bell and am planning to use it for a 30 minute beginner kettle bell exercise (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pDMOIlPLFE). I read that it provides a great cardio, so would it be more beneficial to run 20 minutes after or work on some pilates toning exercises instead?
My current goal is weight loss, if this factors into anything. Any input in terms of the question at hand or even the kettle bell in general (as I literally bought it today) is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I'm more of a Segway and Shooting sort of guy
I can't speak to the moves in that video, but that adjustable kb looks CRAZY awkward. I can't see where that would be effective at all. It probably contributed greatly to why the fitness model in the video performed the moves so poorly1
