Hi everyone!
I've been battling these 50 lbs or so since I was 18 years old, and now at 25 and engaged, I'm ready to get serious about looking and feeling better for my future.
I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years back, which for those of you who don't know, is a metabolic condition that throws your hormones out of whack, and makes your body insulin resistant. With the recommendations of my doctors, I've attempted a low carb diet on and off for the past three years, with very, very little will success. I am notorious for low carbbing for a week tops, see the scale move, and even feel better, only to be tempted and thrown completely off course. I have yet to stick to any diet or lifestyle change for more than a week, and I think that one thing I've always lacked is the motivation that comes with being accountable and vocal about your journey. Which brings me here!
