This is a semi-short post on a really good clean eating chocolate pb2 pie *This pie is for a 6 inch pie pan and serves 6.
Pie Crust is from this website (she has other good recipes as well. Oh and if you find out how to get the crust crunchy let me know !) http://www.skinnyminniemoves.com/protein-pudding-pie/
Chocolate Filling:
Half a package of sugar free, fat free chocolate jell-o pudding powder
1 Scoop chocolate protein powder( I used Myofusion chocolate peanut butter)
1 Cup unsweetened almond milk
*Combine powders first then prepare pudding as directed on package.
PB2 Sauce
2 Tablespoons pb2
2Tablespoons applesauce
1 Teaspoon peanut butter
1 Teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
Half a ripe medium banana
*Blend in a food prosessor until smooth and spread on top of pie.
After your pie is made let it sit in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Since it is instant pudding the filling will be thick but runny.
*Nutrionals are not provided since I added extra stuff in my crust and not everybody has the same protein powder but my cals were 177 and fat around 4. You could also use different flavoured protein powder and pudding mix and get a pie to your flavour standards.
