Sync Issues - I've no hair left!!!

I’ve been using MFP for about two months now and it really has proved quite useful to me while following a LCHF diet. At the suggestion of a friend I bought a Fitbit Charge HD last week and the passing of information from MFP to Fitbit and back has been complicated, to say the least.
My two major problems seem to be that while Fitbit quite easily takes the amount of food I’ve eaten and uses it to do its work. MFP does not seem to be getting information from Fitbit. (I don’t know who is at fault here!) This is really doing my head in. Most everyone would agree that MFP has a great layout and is easy to understand but if I can’t get the calorie burn from Fitbit into MFP then what good is it to me. Fitbit will show me the same information, if not in the same detail, its food database is still good but nowhere near as good as MFP
Yes I do know that in the support article MFP state: Bug: Some Fitbit users are not seeing their steps or adjustment sync to MyFitnessPal.’ But there is no indication as to how long it will take to fix or if there is a workaround
The second bug that I have is when I go to select calorie adjustment a new tab opens up with the message processing your request. Our team has been notified of the issue.’ Well I’ve been trying to find a solution to this and the sync issue most of yesterday evening and this evening but to no avail and while the team might have been notified of the issue according to what I’m reading on line they are not having very much success in fixing the issue.
I’ll stay with MFP for another few evenings and see what happens. I’m prepared to clock up another few hours but I think that after that my time is too valuable

Hi
welcome to MFP
I recommend you join MFP Fitbit group. You can find them at MFP Group option, dark blue banner above

MFP and Fitbit always have sync issues. However, they eventually work out and the calories burned show up.
I notice that some of my MFP food entries are duplicated at Fitbit ( sync error). I just go to Fitbit web page and I delete the duplicate entries manually. Problem solved.0
