Hi! I just turned 40, and have noticed a slow down in my metabolic response. I play roller derby, have for 7 years, and practice 2-3 times a week for 2.5-3 hours at a pretty intense pace. I lift weights 4-5 days a week also for about 50 minute sessions. That, and being a keto lifer leave me feeling extremely healthy. However, I noticed my waistline isn't letting go of the extra love I'm carrying around. I'm 5'6 138lbs. Typically I weigh around 132-135lbs. I'm not overweight, but, can't figure out why now, my middle isnt cooperating with me. I think it's my age, but, since I started lifting again 4 weeks ago, it could be something else. But what?!?

Are you using a food scale to weigh everything solid?

Not only do I weigh ALL my food, and measure it out, I eat more green low carb veggies than any vegetarian I know. I've been keto for over 2 years, so, I can tell you it's not my diet. I play roller derby, hike in the mountains, lift weights, and yoga. My body never knows what activity I'm going to do. I have no exercise rut. I have a metabolic rut!
