Does anyone else get dangerously close to there goal and freak out

i'm finding that whenever I reach my weight loss goals or get dangerously close that I begin to freak out and gain all of the weight back.

My mother also doesn't help the situation when she scares me that I look soo little. Inspite of the fact that I am still within my healthy weight and height range.

Does anyone else do this or am I just weird?

I hit my goal several weeks ago and I'm very worried I'll blow it as I've done in the past so many times. I'm finding it hard to eat closer to maintenance for fear it will be too much. I'm still eating at a moderate deficit and still losing a little bit. I'm at a healthy weight so I'm not worried about losing too much. I know it will take time to figure out what maintenance is, but it still worries me. I, too, have people telling me not to lose any more because I'm "already too skinny." I just ignore it. My belly pooch tells me I can still drop a few pounds and be OK.

Why do you use the word dangerously? It is a very negatively charged word.
Do you believe that your goal weight is healthy? Do you feel good around that weight? How much weight are you losing and regaining? Are you losing at a fast rate? Maybe you should maintain for awhile and work on your mental baggage.
It is your body not your mom's body. If being little is healthy and normal for your height just tell her you are fine.

I haven't experienced anxiety about my weight. I have lost slowly and still am not at my goal. My goal is health not a number on the scale though.
