Recovering from injuries

Hi - I am starting my weight loss journey yet again. I am 51 and in pre-menopause which makes it harder to lose weight. I used to walk 5-7 miles a day. My feet really started to bother me and I found myself having to need surgery due to plantar fasciitis and nerve damage in my right foot. In a boot cast for nearly 3 months and couldn't put weight on my foot for 2 month after that. Unfortunately I gained 20lbs during the recovery. A lot of emotional eating during this time didn't help. So now I am back on my journey, looking for some people to hold me accountable and motivate me to get things moving again. I have a few obstacles ahead of me - (menopause is not fun to say the least..
. I know it will be a struggle and I just can't do it alone. Hoping to find help and guidance on this site.. - Maria
