    Woohoo! Good for you!

I bought peasant skirts. They're good for work and I'm hoping they get me from spring to fall without the need for new work pants. I'll worry about pants when the weather is cold again. Hopefully in an even smaller size.

I am having the same issue and have found a near by consignment shop that carries clothes in all sizes that has helped defray the cost.

    Hi Nina
I got by with my old belt for over a year and many inches of change by taking it and drilling new holes in it. 14 new holes as it happens and at that point I found a $10 leather belt at Walmart that fit and stopped doing that. By the time I stopped adding holes to it it wrapped around to the middle of my back, a true NSV :)

I had two I was doing that to I kept one untouched as a reminder of where I was along with one entire outfit. The second belt I used a really sharp razor knife and kept trimmed down every so often.

    Congratulations on Your achievement. tmje.gif

That is a great idea! Thank you! :) It was the first time I've had my pants so baggy.

I love thrift stores so I figured as I go through my "in between" sizes, I'd just shop at my favorite thrift stores.

I know how you feel. I am now down 4 sizes, at my goal and I have very few clothes. Picked up a few things for summer, but winter will be a different story. I'm unemployed right now so can't spend a lot. Thrift stores, here I come.

Suggestion -- at least for the ladies here -- buy new pants!! You will feel more confident and will look like your new self in pants that fit. No matter where they come from. Shirts, dresses, jackets not such a big deal. I found a brand/style of black pants I really like (bonus that they look great out of the washer/dryer) and buy 2 pairs at each new size I hit. The confidence boost is massive and two pairs get me thru the work week just fine.

Yeah, expensive buying new slacks. On belts I got one of those stretchy, weave type so it works as I lose.
