I love strawberry and blackberries with lemon. I squeeze the blackberries a little so they diffuse more. Not sure how big of a difference this makes!1

thanks i will have to give them a try. i grown fresh mint in my garden and just had a idea. mint is expensive to buy at the store and goes bad quickly. so i am trying freezing it in ice cubes that way i can the flavor and benefits through the winter without the cost. anyone ever tried anything like that?2

I may have to borrow that idea. Usually I just put a tea bag in my Camelbak and cold brew but that sounds too tempting not to try1

Yes, I do this! Mint grows like crazy in one patch of my backyard so I use it to infuse both my water and tea (hot and iced). I also dry the mint and put it in a spice jar and use it just like any dried spice. I just pick a bunch, lay it out on the counter top on clean paper towels until it's dried and then store it. Freezing it in ice cubes works too if you prefer it fresh.
I also love lemon and cucumber in my water.1 -
Here are some ideas from my bookmarks -- wish I had a backyard to grow mint and herbs (though I do have dried mint -- not the same):

You can grow them in pots just like house plants. Some say they need direct sunlight but mine grow fine on the ledge between the kitchen and dining room. See what works best for your area. It's great to have fresh herbs on hand while cooking.0 -
Actually, growing mint in a pot is BETTER than in the ground, as that way it won't spread everywhere. I grow it on my patio instead of in my garden plot on purpose.
Other herbs are also good in water infusions--basil, lemongrass, cilantro...I even know someone who likely parsley water. Try whatever you have around.0
