It's hard sticking to the calorie goals and dividing them into the whole days worth of food. Vegan food often need some type of carb like rice and noodles to stay full. But I seem to still be loosing weight although I am eating more than half of my calories in just the morning. Help!

What's the issue? Accidentally going over before the day is over? What's your calorie goal--is it actually appropriate for you? Can you try planning out a full day?0

I'm vegan and I did eat rice and noodles when I was losing weight -- but because I enjoy them, not because I felt like I needed them to stay full. It's totally possible to feel full without either of them. Are you getting enough protein and fiber? When I do, I find it helps me stay fuller longer. Foods like beans, tofu, tempeh, seitan, broccoli, greens, cauliflower, and cabbage were huge parts of my diet when I was on a calorie deficit (and I still eat lots of them now that I am maintaining).
Pre-logging helped me a great deal -- I was able to see ahead of time if I had sufficient protein with each meal and make adjustments if they were necessary. There's no problem with eating half your calories early in the day if that helps you feel happy and healthy.2 -
If you are losing weight, I'm not sure what the problem is. There's nothing wrong with eating a greater number of your calories in the morning. Just like there is nothing wrong with eating most of them in the evening. If you are happy with this and reaching your goals, then awesome. You could also consider changing your goals. MFP gave me 1200, I was hangry all the time with that. I increased it to 1600 and was much more satisfied and still losing successfully.2

Thanks for all the replys. Yes I am eating lots of tofu. I also just love rice and noodles and I eat lots of greens, lots n lot.. Haha! I've also heard that eating a big healthy breakfast is great for weight loss I'm calorie deficit is 1240. Not sure if thats enough or not. But I work out 5 days a week for about an hour put together sometimes longer. I was just worried If I consumed my calories in the morning if I already messed up my entire da.. I'm also really conserned about my carb.. I seem to be going over them on a plant diet. I fear the carbs turning to sugar will keep me from my goals.0

Some people like eating a big breakfast, others don't. It's optional for weight loss. You can do either and still lose weight.
Are you eating back any exercise calories? If your calorie goal comes from MFP, it's designed for you to eat back the calories burned through exercise (especially if you have a very low goal, as you do).
As long as you're meeting your needs for protein and fat, it's fine to eat more carbohydrates. As long as you are in a calorie deficit, more carbohydrates won't keep you from meeting your goals. I ate about 60% of my calories in carbohydrates while I was losing weight and I still met my goals.0 -

As long as you are in a calorie deficit, going over carbs won't hinder your weightloss.
Wait-your calorie goal is 1240 or you deficit is 1240? If your deficit is 1240 like you say, you are at too great of a deficit.0 -
People on plant based diets eat lots more carbs than meat eaters. Do not worry about the carbs.
Eat your calories at whatever time of the day feels right for you.
I am doing IF -- eating only between the hours of 6:00 pm to 11:00 p.m.
