Need friends to support

My firefighter husband just went through major surgery which will keep him off his feet for the next 8 weeks. I've already begun my repeat journey to lose the post-menopause lbs and now with the sleep deprivation and so few people interacting with me here on MFP, I'm reaching out in hopes there are others who will add me and be supportive as I forge through to meet my goals. I'm usually interactive, but right now it's all I can do to log and post updates.

I'm sorry that your husband is having to go through surgery. I'm sure that's hard on you too. I hope he recovers quickly so life gets back to normal for the 2 of you. If you need some help, feel free to send me a message. I'm happy to help out.

Thank you so much. It's hard staying on track right now when I'm working at 50%, and last night was a perfect example. After spending all day providing care every 2 hours for up to and hour and half each stint, I clean forgot to plan my meals and wound up snagging a fatzidilla (hubby's word for a cheese Quesadila --and he's right) while fixing his dinner. On the upside, I hopped back on my 30 day challenge workout even though I was exhausted. I'm fighting hard and having people pushing and supporting helps immensely. So when I say thank you so much, I really do mean it!
