Hi Everyone Thanks in advance for your answers .
My question is this how do you decide what your activity level is and how much does it effect your daily calories set by MFP ??
My job entails walking around a big box hardware store all day doing the orders for thousands of products .. I do between 3000 & 5500 steps per day, climb ladders a few times a day and am up and down off a step a few dozen times most days & i work 5 days a week .
I had considered this to be lightly active as the setting on MFP but when i recently updated my goals as it hadn't been updating every 10 pounds lost ,
( it hadnt changed at all even though i'd lost over 20 kilos )
MFP then changed my daily calorie limit down to 1360 .. which is ok but is was a pretty big drop .
I don't go over this limit anyway but am thinking i may have something set wrong .As every time i check on my TDEE it says between 2211 & 2404 and with a deficit i should be having around 1700 a day for a 1 kilo loss . .
I am not having any issues losing each week , just am curious about the settings, & it's been nagging at me to find out
My starting weight was 143.8 kg - 13 feb 2016
CW is 115.3 kg - 19 july 2016
GW is 100 kg - for now
female , age 49 , height 162 cm
My diary is open
Thanks All

The activity level you choose has a "multiplier" attached to it to calculate TDEE from BMR. If you're losing weight at a sensible rate, don't change anything, too quickly and you should increase calories slightly, too slowly and decrease them. It's pretty basic stuff!0

If I understood your post correctly it sounds like you math is a little off: "every time i check on my TDEE it says between 2211 & 2404 and with a deficit i should be having around 1700 a day for a 1 kilo loss . ."
for a 1lb/week loss you need to have a 500 calorie deficit each day
for 2 lbs/week (about 1 kilo) you need to have a 1000 cal deficit each day
if your TDEE is 2200-2400 then a calorie goal of 1700-1900 is 1lb/week and 1200-1400 is 2lbs/week.
so it sounds like MFP has the correct goal set if you have a 2lbs/week goal selected.0
