Poll-- how does your body loose weight?

When tracking weight weekly, do you incrementally loose ounces each day at every weigh in that eventually leads up to a pound or find that you are randomly down a pound or two after weighing in at the exact same amount day after day?

I tend to lose, gain a bit back, hold steady for several days, then lose again, so there is a constant up and down but an overall downwards trend. If I am losing quickly I will hold steady through TOM and then see a big drop a halfway through, if I am not losing I see a 1-2lb gain a couple days before then it drops back off.

I stay on the same number for 25 days and then I lose 2-5 pounds about 3 days before my TOM. I weigh each day at the same time but it never drops/raises much at all through the rest of the time.

Consistently, my lowest weight of the week is on Friday. I weigh everyday but this is my weekly benchmark to gauge progress. Because I generally eat a little more and have some alcohol on the weekend, I'm up a few pounds by Sunday or Monday morning (water weight/food in my system), but down again by Friday. You can see the spikes in my weight graph for the last 90 days.tfql9tysymqf.png

I too, usually lose a chunk at a time. Mostly around 3 weeks or so, I'll lose 2-4 lbs depending. Some may be water weight, but it's better than nothing at all!

This is what mine looks like - at the same time very bumpy, and clearly heading down!

I will stay the same for 3-4days then drop my 2-3lbs for the week in a chunk.

Chunks with new low every 2-3 weeks now. 144 lost, only 7 to goal. Monthly losses for 2+years. Never a plateau or stall longer than a few weeks. Iam a very consistent eater, never binge, and cheats are few and planned out. It's hard but worth it!
