Deleting posts on your own main profile page

Hello everyone. I am having an issue with my main profile page. It is time for me to make a fresh start and delete super-old posts, but there is a problem. A few posts from literally two years ago are stuck on my page because there is no option to delete them. Usually, there is a little black x in the upper right corner of each post on your profile page, but that is not the case here. It is driving me nuts since I am slightly OCD, so please help if you know any tricks on how to get rid of older posts. Thank you.
