Working out to eat

There is a local restaurant where I live that has the best fried chicken sandwich. Today was my half day at work. So, I decided that I was going to work out extra hard today so I can have a Lindy's fried chicken sandwich and crinkle fries with ranch. Oh man! I am so happy that I did that and I will be good for another few months. I appreciate this site and I appreciate knowing that I can fit the foods that I want into my day with a little extra effort. That was a 900 calorie dinner, but it was fine since I burned over 700 calories today. And, I still have room for dessert! Yay for eating yummy food and yay for having amazing workout days!

i have done something similar when i wanted a cupcake. i did like an extra hour at the gym, etc.
what i typically do is overestimate the number of calories in the "extra indulgent" food, and under estimate calorie burn so i am sure to come-out ahead.0 -
Heck yes, tonight is sushi night and you bet I'm eating 1000 calories of delicious raw fish goodness. I busted my butt for it.0

This is pretty much everyday for me. :-) I dread "rest" days because I don't have the extra calories to use.0
