Just wondering is it possible? I know some will say just lose weight and you should lose your stomach fat too. Of course it does not always happen that way. Would love to hear stories and experiences!

So I've given birth to two children. The first was vaginal and the second was a c-section. I've lost over 20 pounds since March and I will say my stomach fat has decreased like the rest of me. However, it's taken a lot longer than it did the first time around with a vaginal. My stomach muscles weren't (and still aren't) as strong as they used to be. As you begin working out focus on your abs and back, basically your core. At night I do leg lifts while I'm watching TV trying to strengthen those muscles. Basically, you are going to have to focus on it. You can lose it just figure out how you can work on it almost every day.1

I've had three kids, the first was a c-section, the last two were not. It may be my genetics, but after my pregnancies I found it harder to lose the tummy. I was never overweight to begin with but if it weren't for weightlifting and strengthening my core muscles, my stomach would have never been close to what it looked like prepregnancy. Now I'm happy to say it looks better currently then it did before I had kids. Of course now it seems like my tummy is the first place I gain weight if I go off the rails, whereas before it was always on my thighs and face1
