So I am extremely overweight I'd say I need to lose at least 150lbs. But my question is once I lose weight will the period cramping be more light. I have crippling cramps. I feel like I can't love or do anything. Hoping once I start dropping weight that will stop

Mine has gotten better but not sure if everyone's does. I also find that exercise helps

I've found that my weight didn't change anything ... but taking a calcium supplement starting a few days prior and continuing until the end of my period helps a bit.
You might check with your Dr to see if that's OK for you.0 -
I've only had one typical cycle since I started losing weight and exercising but...my periods have lightened considerably, the cramps have almost stopped and I have had almost debilitating cramps since I started my cycle *due to severe pcos* and my energy levels have spiked. I also take a one a day women's active metabolism vitamin a day and a calcium supplement a day. It helps.
