I did Zumba Tone for an hour and when I put that into MFP, it tells me I burned 969 calories. Does that sound right?

I have done the Zumba tone using 2lbs weights in the past. The calorie burn is no where near that IMHO. At 105 lbs I logged it at 300cals burn. Most of my cardio gets between 150-200 cals per hr.
I am going off my stats on MFP to extrapolate my burns.

    Cheers, h.

That sounds really high to me, though it does depend on your height and weight. For something like Zumba... I would enter in no more than half of those calories, and that's assuming you worked really hard during. If you took any breaks or anything, you might want to reduce it further. Not less than 25% of what it says though. It is a workout.

What does MFP give you for regular Zumba?

I did Zumba toning tonight as well and wore my HRM. It said I burned 794 calories. My average heart rate was 149.

Not unless you are really, really, really tall.

When you search exercises on MFP and type in Zumba. Zumba fitness comes up and then asks you how many minutes you did it for. Then it gives you your calories burned. There is no place to type calories burned.
