Prob been round this numerous times....how long does Chicken tend to keep for in the fridge raw? I brought some from the butchers on Monday.....3 kilos, I've eaten half of it already (Thursday now) someone told me around 4-5 days? is that right? can I freeze it after 4 days? or would that not be good?

4 days is a little long, generally they say 2 I think.

It depends on how cold your fridge stays. How often it's opened, how hot the room is when it's opened (how much opening it drops the temp). I'd freeze or cook it now. Once cooked it will stay good in the fridge for several more days. As long as it's still edible now, it's fine to freeze it.

I'd agree about cooking yours today. Cooked chicken keeps longer than raw. If I buy it fresh I usually cook it all at the beginning and then freeze it or use it over the week. Most chicken we buy in the stores has a "Use By" or "Sell By" date. Use that as a guide.
