I'm a very small male, but my activity level is high enough such that I would lose at 2000 calories a day.

Apologies - I was responding to what I thought was a different thread.

I don't know what the point of this statement is. No one is disputing that people who have a higher activity level can eat more food. That's the crux of CICO. There seems to be some belief by some though, that all other factors being equal (age, height, weight, activity level, and estimated caloric intake), some people just naturally have a higher metabolism and burn fat easier than the rest of us, and that this automatically and significantly changes over a period of time.
    Wrong thread??

Hah. Yep. Sorry, I thought it was the naturally skinny one. That's what I get for trying to answer on my phone while walking at the same time.

    Disregard!

Many can, especially if they're at a larger size, very active, muscular, or male.

Alas, I'm in the No Fun For You Club
