Upper body vs lower body

I am currently doing 2 x upper body workouts, 2 lower body workouts and 1 Cv sessions per week. During my weighted workouts I also include a bit of HIIT training to keep my heart rate up.
I have been on this new programs for about 3 weeks and have seen massive improvements in my upper body. There is a lot of definition there...I am really surprised with my progress.
However, I am struggling to see any progress in my lower body. I know that lower needs to be worked hard....am I being a bit impatient? Do you think I need to drop one of my upper body workouts and do an extra legs session each week?
Or do I just need to give it time.
Big thanks in advance

Time.
What do you mean by HIIT during your weighted workouts?1 -
Ah ok, time it is then. I assumed that I must be doing something right as I am making progress...so I guess just stick with it.
I lift weights during my upper/lower body workouts..but at the start and finish if each session I do a little workout to get my heart rate up. Normally consisting of something similar to this..
20 seconds kettle bell swing
10 second rest
20 second star jumps
10 second rest
Etc etc
I normally do this for about 5/6 mins0 -
us women tend to carry more fat down there to cover up lower body definition. also leg muscles are bigger and just take more time to build up . Whether you add more lower and less upper is a personal choice. but more isn't always more2

I'm a big fan of finishers like that. Not sure doing them before and after each session is needed tho.1 -
You're being impatient1

Thanks . I appreciate all feedback0

I'll swap, I seemed to have gained more lower body definition. I'm happy for you to have some. Would you like the bulges above the knees that look odd in dresses that finish there? Those are terrific.
(I got them from HIIT on a turbo trainer bike)1
