Hi. I'd love to hear from anyone that has suffered or suffering with this? It's really rare in adults so I've struggled finding help online. The condition is a narrowing of the airway below the vocal cords. I have always kept myself active and try to eat as healthily as I can. I got down to my desired weight but then I started having breathing problems at the beginning of the year. At first I thought it was asthma related as I suffer mildly with this condition- it was only when inhalers weren't helping me I knew something was wrong. Towards the end and just before my diagnosis, I couldn't climb the stairs without feeling as though I had run a marathon-I could hardly breath doing the simplest of tasks! I had an operation last Tuesday to open the airway with a balloon dilation. Since my op the difference is amazing, I can breath normally again. The consultant did mention the airway could narrow again and I may need further treatment but for now I'm so happy to be pretty much feeling normal again! It would be great to hear from anyone that has been through this or similar to share experiences.

I'm a severe asthmatic and was recently diagnosed with sarcoidosis in my lungs. I know the feeling of breathlessness. I'm glad you have relief. Feel free to add me.
