Fresh Start - New to MFP

Hello fellow MFPers and newbies,

My name is Kris, I have a general knowledge of health and fitness, and I know what I need to do to live a healthier lifestyle but I just lack motivation sometimes. I'm at a healthy weight, based on BMI standards, but I still feel very pudgy and bloated all the time and I hate it. I really don't want to lose much weight, maybe 10 to 15 lbs., but I'd mainly just like to get healthier and more fit; start eating better than I do now, and working out on a more regular basis.
I'd like to have friends with goals of all shapes and sizes, not just similar to mine. We all don't have the same starting point or ending goals, but that doesn't mean we can't all inspire and motivate each other to reach our individual goals. I'd love to hear others thoughts, ideas, and things they've learned so far during their journey.

    Hi, I'm Rhi! I'll happily add you. :) I'm from South Africa and am (slightly) on the wrong side of the bmi scale so looking to lose around 13kgs (off the top of my head I want to say 30ish pounds).

    Hi Kris, I will send a friend request. I am looking to lose 15-20lbs, but I am 55 which brings a whole host of other things to weight loss. Like you I know what to do, I just don't always do it! Lol Being here keeps me accountable and motivated. :)
