First day at the gym today, very daunting! Went in the womans of lying room just while I build my confidence.

So about me: I'm 29, married and my black lab is like my child :-) I have always been a bit over weight, but at the age of 26 I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer which can't be cured... so this is me, living with cancer. During chemotherapy and my 3 years of non stop treatment it's really made me feel tired and very dependent on my husband. I want to change things and what better way to beat fatigue than exercise. I'm at a stage now we're I want to slowly loose about 3_4 stone so if any personal trainers or fitness fanatics fancy helping someone clueless with tips on what kind of workouts I should be doing feel free to get in touch :-) gym again tomorrow followed by a swim or a session in the hydro pool!
