I bought some chicken livers and the nutritional value on the package indicates that 118 grams equals 110 calories. However the USDA data base for the same livers is 100 grams equals 119 calories. That is a noticeable difference. The package label has 18 grams more but the calories are 9 less.
Which one should I be using? Or even a better question, which one is the most accurate?

Package, they know what specifically is in there. Wouldn't expect it of livers, but for example often grocery store meat has a saline solution added that increases weight without increasing calories.0
