Does anyone have any idea how many cups are in a 1/4 of a typical whole seedless watermelon? I know it's 46 cals. per cup, but I'm trying to figure out how many cups 1/4 of the whole watermelon would be. TIA!

Firstly, I'd recommend you buy a food scale. Logging with one is more accurate and easier than trying to use cups.
These are from the USDA website.

The actual page to see what the numbers actually mean.1 -

Depends on the size of the watermelon and how much of it minus the rind you are using. Also the finer it's chopped, the more you can put into a cup. So... not sure there is a good answer to the question. You'd have to weigh it rather than using a volume measurement.0 -
Wow, there's so much variation in watermelon size that I'd guess the answers could vary by factors of 3 or more. Maybe 200-400 kcal? 5-8 cups approx?0

Using cups will bring different results. After you cut it, weigh the watermelon.0

I have a food scale, I just failed to weigh it before I ate it. Most of the seedless watermelons are basically the same size anymore (purchased at Walmart). The cubes were pretty small, about 3/4" cubed. I figured 7 cups (yes, I ate all of that.... lol), so I'll just go with that. Thanks!1

I just had a few cups of watermelon myself. So good on a hot & humid day like today
