SO on Saturday we attended the burial and memorial service of a dear family friend. Well that's not the NSV. I haven't seen my dad's Uncle and Aunt for close to a year. I know it sounds bad but we just don't seem to get together. They are elderly and don't get around like they used to and I guess that means we haven't made the time to see them. Any way when we walked in to the church where the lunch was held and we saw them first thing. My great-uncle pulled me aside and whispered to me that I get more beautiful every time he sees me. Then my great-aunt hugged me and also said I am prettier all the time and she marveled at how skinny I am. It something I am hearing more from people but until I heard both of them comment on it I shrugged it off. They are not people to toss complements around so I truly cherish their kind words.
