Most outrageous lie you've told to cover up pigging out?

Just wanted to know what the most outrageous lie you've ever told is to cover up a massive pig-out.....I cleaned out a loaf of bread once and told my SO it'd fallen on the floor and the cat had pounced on it. LOL

Okay, so it wasn't outrageous per say, but the cat got scolded and I felt really bad :(

At buffets I will hold my back and belly out and do the pregnant walk. Then people don't judge me for eating so much!

A friend of mine used to hide in his toilet eating pork scratchings whilst flushing the toilet so his gf wouldn't hear him eating them and give him hell for 'ruining' his diet.

Yeah, I everyone knows how much of a fat *kitten* I can be. Wouldn't need to lie about it.

I don't think I've ever felt the need to lie about my eating.

This thread has got me curious now, because some of us did lie about (or at least cover up) overeating, whereas others of us did not. I wonder if there are any correlations between this behavior and the users' ultimate success, choice of methods, etc.

I certainly did cover up my eating habits:
    - Whenever I'd go to the grocery store I would always get candy or a snack, and to hide it I always threw away the receipt. My wife would get angry whenever she would have to return something: "Save the receipt!" I would act like I just forgot, when in fact it was a deliberate act on my part to hide the evidence.

    - I would often get food on my morning commutes. I would also take a breakfast from home so that it wouldn't be obvious that I was getting fast food. I'd eat the breakfast from home and then get fast food breakfast too.

    - I would get snacks at the same time I got gas. Instead of paying at the pump I would pay for the gas inside the convenience store along with the food, so that there wasn't a separate transaction for the food - the price of the food would be included in the total price.

    - I would often get "road burgers" to have on the way home from work. Then I'd sit down and have a full meal with my family. If I didn't eat a lot I would just say that I was still full from lunch.

When I finally did come clean and confess all of this to Mrs Jruzer, she said "No wonder you were fat!"

I've gone to CFA before wanting 2 sandwiches...but instead of ordered a separate sandwich I'll just order a whole other combo so they will think I'm ordering it for someone else :'(

I used to go to the vending machine and get a package of white powdered donuts and while in the break room would put them in a cup with a lid and walk back to my desk. This way people thought I had a beverage when I actually had donuts. I can happily say I don't sneak food anymore and I welcome people to come see what I am eating now. But damn those donuts were so good.

I don't lie. Food is good, I eat plenty of it and enjoy it. Nothing to hide.

I'll admit I can be a closet eater from time to time! My most recent one was yesterday when I went out to the store during a family gathering because I was craving chips so bad... Was very ambiguous about the reason I was going (just said "I'm going to the store") and ate the chips in my car lol.

Those Smilies from Wal-Mart are so delicious. I had a pet goat and said he really liked them so I could stand by his pen and 'share' them with him when in reality I would only occasionally give him the yellow ones. Only occasionally!
  • I have literally pretended to read from a blank slip of paper so the cashier at a fast food restaurant would think I was ordering for multiple people.

I have to write it, just to remember what I'd order, for only myself!
  • On more than one occasion I have hidden two or more of those Chik-fil-a breakfast bites in my pants pocket. Ok, this was actually to hide the fact that I was stealing. Stealing then pigging out.
