Looking for group (or friends) of women who lift

I'm starting to lift using resistance bands. I'm motivated by not only toning up but increasing my resting calorie burn rate related to lifting "heavy" for women. But all the women lifting groups seem to be following specific programs

I'm happy with the bodylastics muscle building program so sticking to that (if i can stick it out that is)
so I was wondering if there is any active group on here of women that are into lifting but without following a specfic plan?

    I like strength training. I am using Chalean Extreme but you can use resistance bands with that program.
  • I take KettleBell classes. The amazing women who teaches in my neighborhood is great, she is a Spartan ProElite Racer #1 in the world ( sorry I bragged but she is amazing and motivates me). I've built up the weights I use, shaped my body and I have managed to stick with it for over a year. I switch it up with running, kickboxing and zumba what ever my schedule permits. I am a firm believer in the weight training but love the cardio and pace of Kettlebell.

    I would say don't be afraid to switch it up now and then, your body will only get stronger for it.
