Short Term - Month to Month Rents

Hey everyone, question to those who might have any experience with this.

Is anyone aware of websites/apps/tricks/tips to rent a studio or apartment on a month to month basis and get a good deal? The reason I ask is because I'm certain many people who travel for work and spend 1, 2, 3 months at a different city or state in here the US won't rent a studio for a whole year if they're only staying for a couple of months wherever they're going. Also, I don't think every company pays for housing, especially if the person is a freelancer who's going after a good short term project somewhere away from their home.

Google hasn't been too helpful in this matter since all it shows are website renting apartments.

Any advice?

Corporate housing can be an option but not sure how inexpensive it is. As they are fully furnished.

I've looked into it and they can be very expensive, especially in NYC. Probably as expensive as what I could be getting paid a month lol
