Logging Steps...help!

I wear a Samsung Gear Fit daily. Right now I have 12,542 steps which it says equals 464 calories. The gear fit is not a device that sync's with MFP, and I haven't found a place to enter steps.
Have I not found the place to enter steps? Do I enter calories burned for the steps? Or does MFP expect you to get a certain number of steps in daily?

MFP does account for some of the steps you take in a day (how many exactly depends on what activity level you picked). MFP does not have a place to enter a step count that will effect your calories for the day.
If 12k is a normal occurrence I would set MFP to Lightly Active or Active and just leave it at that.
Does gear fit sync with google fit? If so, google fit does sync with MFP so that might be a round about option as well.1
