Questions about 'exercise days'

On the days I exercise, and earn more calories because of it, should I be eating those extra calories? On a non-exercise day I'm currently allotted 1440 calories, so I'm at a decent amount, some days after exercise I eat those extra calories and some days I do not. So I'm just wondering if I should be, or if it's ok if I don't. Thanks!

Yes, but don't eat them all. Most people eat back 50-75% because calories burned are usually overestimated.0

Thanks Dianne, from that post I gleaned: "Myfitnesspal uses a caloric estimation tool that expects you to eat back calories burned during exercise." Thank you!0
