I lost 25 lbs. and have kept it 'mostly' off for about a year now. In past month+ have watched scale slowly creep up - I understand I'm eating more calories then when on the diet. But I practiced the maintenance part (one day week splurge/indulgence meal) and now I've probably 2-3 meals that are more what a normal thin person eats - and I see a 4-6 lb. increase. I don't want to go back to Phase 1 - I am eating clean, whole real foods but wanted to know what or if anyone who stopped the IP program gained a few after stopping.

If the scale is creeping up over a sustained period you are consuming more calories than you are using.

Either consume less or expend more.

Are you logging your food? That is the only way to know how much you are actually consuming. You don't need to follow any particular diet to create a deficit or stay in maintenance.

I'm not familiar with the IP program but my immediate thought would be that you are consuming more than maintenance calories. I would just log all the clean eating for a while to find out where your portions are off.

You're all Correct - I've not been logging religiously nor have I kept a keen eye on how calories I've been consuming. I'm back on track today! And I am committed to eating Real, Clean & Whole foods from now on.

You don't need to eat clean as long as you eat within your calories you can eat what you want.
