It's likely that what you perceive as muscle gain is actually inflammation, where you retain water.

You can't possibly gain muscle in just a few days. It just doesn't happen that way.

This is true. Some people may gain in a deficit, but not in a couple of days. You are seeing pump, that's all.

Take it from the real She-hulk. :)

Same here. I've been lifting weights this whole time and I remember that "I'm getting bulky!" feeling at first.

    It's not bulk lol! :)

It's very sad to think that somebody who has lost 3lbs in two weeks isn't happy and can't understand what a great job that is! Your are doing it right with a 1.5lb per week loss rate, and should keep up the good work!

Details please? Starting weight/date and current weight? Height? How many calories per day do you eat?

You say you hardly lost any weight and you said you gained. Which is it? If you lay out some details, we can probably help give you some peace of mind and/or suggestions.

I have only lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks and i have a 1500 calorie limit and work out 3 to 4 times a week

How is that gaining? That is 1.5 lb a week which is fine, please don't expect 3+ lb each week
