Opinions on how many calories are added when you fry something?

It depends on what your frying as to how much of the oil it absorbs/holds on to

When you bread and fry, for the most part you end up with all of the oil absorbed into the bread and served. I would take the amount of oil that you use to fry and divide by the number of chicken tenders and each chicken tender will have that much oil0 -
If you deep fat fry, measure the oil going in and the oil left over. Subtract the two and that's the total fat added to your meal.3

It depends on any techniques used after frying the food. Like if you let it drain on a paper towel. The paper towel will absorb some of the fry oil, but there will still be quite a bit that soaked into the breading.0
