I have lost almost fifty pounds. I'm a little more than halfway with my weight loss. It has been a slow process for me, with a lot of hard work and determination. There were some setbacks and and it has taken me longer to get to this point than I wanted it to...but the important thing is I am still moving forward...even if I sometimes feel that I am losing motivation. I try to look back and see how far I've come, look at the non scale victories, see the positive influences the changes I have made have on my health, myself and my family to keep me motivated to keep moving forward and to not give up. I'll try to figure out how to post a progress picture. Please share your ups and down and progress tips and pics..how far do you have to go? How long have you been working on it? Have you ever lost the motivation to keep going? What did you do about it to make sure you kept moving forward?

Congratulations on your loss! There will be setbacks, slow downs and frustrations but the important thing is you are still going! Please share your ups and down and progress...how far do you have to go? I have lost almost 60 pounds so far, my original goal was to get to 160 but I think I'd like to get between 130 and 140.
My journey started seriously in the beginning of March this year. I have definitely had moments where I thought I was going to lose my motivation, either I'd be working really hard and not seeing any changes or whatever...but I've tried to do this before and quit after losing 15 pounds just to gain it back. What keeps me moving forward is the progress already made and knowing that if I can do that I can definitely get to my goal weight and stay there. I know how much hard work I've put into myself and I'm not going to undo all of it by stopping now.3 -

Congrats to you! My progress so far...I started on March 1st changing my life. I weighed 308# on Feb 29th.
Last Monday, July 18th I weighed in at 243.6#
I have never really decided on an end weight..maybe more of a range..I'm thinking 195-205
So..perhaps 40-50 more to go..and I'll re-evaluate then..5 -
