Correcting mistakes/typos in details of nutrition value?

When I find a typo, I go back to the food entry which says edit in the middle of the top of the page, but it does not actually allow me to edit the details of my mistaken entry? Can someone please help?

    I think you cannot re-edit any entered values of the foods you enter. I always type in the numbers for the values then double check before saving. But if there is a way to edit the entries, I would like to know it too
