I started this journey in July of 2014, weighing in at 272 pounds at 5'9.
I had always made bad food choices growing up, but it started to get REALLY bad and I was getting Mcdonalds evert single day, sometimes twice a day. I would get 2 hamburgers, 3 large fries, and a large coke. Along with that, I would have 3-4 other cokes and would eat a huge bowl of white rice with butter and salt. It wasnt until I finally weighed myself that I realized how bad things had got.
I cut out fast food and soda, which is what I lived off of and honestly it was my comfort food and such a hard habit to break, but I did it. I didnt have ANY fast food or soda for a solid 6 months and I felt so great.
I have had slip ups and have hit bumps in the road. I lost track of my health for awhile and went back to bad habits and regained some weight, but then snapped back into it again and stopped with the fast food.
Now im at 168, with finally a normal BMI for my height. I cant even imagine all the health risks that Im now clear of because Im no longer close to 300 pounds, stuffing my face full of digusting food every day. Im sure my body would verbally thank me if it could.
I just want everyone to know that they can add me and message me and talk to me if they need support or motivation or to just vent ive struggled with making good choices, ive struggled with binge eating and emotional eating, ive gone through it and im here for anyone who needs help on their journey
You arent alone.
