kickboxing weight gain

So I know the immediate response to this is "you're gaining muscle!" but that's not the problem

SO ever since I have been able to go back to kickboxing I have been trying to go twice a week at least. It is a great cardio kickboxing class with a boot camp like warm up (hardest part), stretching and kicks/punches on the bag and with a partner. This total class is 60min.

I feel like I'm not as "lean" when I up my kickboxing sessions - is that weird?? This is interval training at its finest - i feel like i should be svelt and jacked by now! Haha My weight is about the same - no up or down (plateauing at the moment) - and I am still running about three days a week as well. Any suggestions as to why I feel bigger after kickboxing!? Any help would be great!
