Slowed down

Hi my name is alma and I'm from Texas. So I started this amazing, crazy journey in January 20, 2016. Its been six months and I've lost 43 lbs, I started at 241 lbs and I'm currently at 198. So the first month i lost 12 lbs, the next 9, after that 6 and so on. I weigh in once a month every 28 and it seems like this month I've lost 2lbs ... 2 lbs!!!!! I know it supposed to slow down that way doing adjust to my body and slower is better but I'm honestly getting discouraged

You've done great but the weight loss slow down just means you need to tighten up your logging - perhaps you've become slightly complacent at logging accurately (most of us have been there done that), we sometimes stop weighing our food etc and don't realise we're eating more than we think.

MFP will have recalculated your calorie allowance as you lost weight and as long as you adjusted to eating the lower allowance you will keep losing.

As you get closer to goal 1/2lb-1lb a week is a good average loss

Be patient, you will get there

Slow and steady wins the race!! Loose too much too fast and it will come back, happens to me all the time.If I loose the average 1/2lbs a week I keep it off and it stays away!!! Don't get discourage you should be really proud of yourself. Some struggle to loose that much in two months(me)

Have you changed how many calories you're eating each day? As you lose weight your body burns less calories just by breathing and moving around. Have you upped the intensity of your exercise? Your body adapts to what you're doing and, again, the same exercise at 198 pounds doesn't burn as many calories as it did at 241.

Everyone goes through periods where their weight loss slows. That's usually a signal that you need to change things up a bit.

Thank you all for the comments. Yes I do reset my calories. I started at 1860 and right now I'm at I think 16 something. I'm even thinking of working out in the mornings and evenings. I had been slacking meal prepping and started eating those lean cuisines until I read how bad they are so I'm starting meal prepping again. My workouts I juts started the circuit training for performance and strength so I'm getting used to that.
