Facial Exercises??

This is a weird question, but has anyone tried facial exercises with good results, especially in trying to get rid of hereditary fat under the chin? I am about 9 lbs from my goal, but am unhappy with my profile. I thought about "coolsculpting" but wondered if facial exercises might work? Anyone??

No, if it is hereditary - it is very difficult, maybe near possible to fix without surgery.0

nope, you can't target lose fat from exercising. Additionally you are using these muscles hundreds of times a day with your expressions and speaking. You can continue to lower your body fat percentage, but there's only so much you can do. I would continue to lose fat to see where your baseline is and whether or not you can live with it.
If you do have the hereditary double chin surgical intervention is your best bet.
Non surgical options include:
1) Kybella to dissolve the fatty tissue in the submental area
2) Cool-mini treatment from Coolsculpting to target the same area
3) Adding a skin tightening device such as Ulthera or Profound to the neck tissue in conjunction with the one of the above to further tighten the skin.
4) Ultherapy
Surgical options include:
1) Liposuction (Tumescent)
2) Neck Lift
3) Face Lift
Just as someone with genetically small boobs no amount of hard work and exercise is going to change them. Surgery is needed.1 -
When I was a kid my mom had this exercise video where in part of it the chick did a couple of face exercises. Mostly sticking the bottom of your jaw out really far to try and avoid getting a double chin. They might work. In the past I never really did it, but since I started gaining weight back this time, I do it when I remember, and I don't have one at this weight like I did last time.0

My guess is if the exercises worked (and I don't think they do) to tighten under the chin, it would come at the cost of damage to other areas of the face.
I've been going to dermatologists for 30+ yrs. First for acne, now for skincare. My doctor suggested Botox to prevent crows feet, explaining that the normal movements (eating, smiling, talking) are a major cause of wrinkles. She said non-smokers get lip "smokers" lines from eating, using straws, smiling, and talking. If facial movements contribute to wrinkles in some areas of the face, performing exercises might exacerbate the wrinkling of facial skin.
