Hi all, I'm a body weight exercise enthusiasts aka calisthenics, I've been training strictly with bwe and minimal amount of equipment for a long time and loving the results. I'm now entering some beginning stages of advance bwe and looking forward to the progress. This journey has taught me that you dont need a weight room to get the results you want, just dedication and hard work.

I join MFP many years ago, about 3. When I did, it was just to get an idea on what my nutrition looked like. I used the app for a couple weeks just to get a feel and then went on with my life. I didn't want to be that guy that obsessed about every calorie I'm taking in, and I'm not going to be. I've come back to look over what my macro ratio is and make sure that I am either getting enough calories to maintain or possibly bulk down the future. This app is great for keep tabs on all that. And just when I said I didn't want to be that guy I just stated I'm tracking my calories lol (hopefully not in an obsessive way). I've come to the point where it's time to do some fine tuning on my diet, whether it's shifting my macro nutrients or make sure im getting enough calorie. I'd like to lose an inch, maybe 2 or 3 around the waist, currently at 33.5. And I know diet is key so here I am again, to be a mad scientist and tinker with my food. I generally follow a paleo template when it comes to my nutrition and I'm aiming to lose a couple inches and add muscle mass. So let's see how it goes, I could crash and burn and you all would be a witness to it haha. Please feel free to add me if you want to follow my journey or just want to add on to your friend's list. Also I started an Instagram account so feel free to follow me there too @bwe4life

Welcome to the forums! I've been doing a full body hypertrophy program, but I am thinking of switching to calisthenics and maybe cycling the two routines every couple of months. Mind if I add you? I'd like to see what kind of results people are getting with just body weight exercises. I want to get stronger (and bigger) but I don't want to lift heavy *kitten* weights and risk injury.
