Lifting this time around-not seeing loss

I did mfp for a couple of months earlier this year and lost a few lbs. I did nothing but adjust my eating and tracked. No working out. I quit due to some medical issues and stress. I am now back on, but this time I have started lifting and doing good cardio in addition to tracking. I do eat my calories back. I have not lost anything! I do believe I have gained considerable muscle and I am sure that accounts for something. I have not noticed any major change in measurements or the way my clothing fits either. My food choices are also considerably better now too. What gives!? I have been back to mfp for 3 weeks. I do weigh my food and track it all.
Has anyone else experienced slow loss when staring this journey with lifting too?
I have to lift, I enjoy that more than anything and that's what gets me to the gym. Cardio consists of treadmill, elliptical, or spinning-usually for 20 min.

You eat your calories back? Why not keep that deficit so you lose?0
