I have a really bad ankle and am getting physical therapy but want to do some form of movement. What would you suggest?

Anything that allows you to sit means you can work on your upper body, abs, and ..... Leg lifts. If you have a gym membership, I'd sit on any machine for legs like leg lifts, both push up kind for quads and push down kind for hamstring. Sitting on any arm machine and doing some sort of abs, even if it's just crunches. If no gym membership, get 10 lb weights and do any arm exercise you can look up on YouTube. 3 sets, 15 repetitions for each exercise you choose. Go!
